Atech, part of the Iomart Group, has been shortlisted in all three categories it entered at the Security Excellence Awards.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Security Excellence Awards, which celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership across the UK cyber security industry.
Atech has been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Security Team of the Year
- Security Partner of the Year
- Managed Security Award
Being shortlisted across all three categories reflects the strength and maturity of Atech’s managed security services, its people, and its partnership-led approach to helping organisations strengthen resilience in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
Recognition across people, partnership, and delivery
The shortlisting recognises Atech’s UK-led, globally supported managed security model, built around:
- 24/7 SOC operations
- Microsoft-native security tooling across Sentinel, Defender, and Entra ID
- AI-supported detection, investigation, and response
- Structured onboarding and continuous posture improvement
Over the past year, Atech has delivered measurable outcomes for customers across retail, logistics, finance, and the public sector, including:
- 97% of incidents resolved within SLA
- Up to 50% reduction in detection time
- Significant reductions in alert fatigue through AI-driven triage and automation
The Managed Security Award and Security Partner of the Year shortlists highlight Atech’s ability to combine technology, governance, and intelligence-led security with a trusted advisory approach.
The Security Team of the Year shortlisting reflects Atech’s continued investment in people, skills, and diversity, and the strength of its collaborative UK and India-based security teams.
Customer impact at the centre
Customer outcomes were a central focus of Atech’s award submissions, including work delivered for organisations such as AMFRESH and Dr. Martens.
These engagements demonstrate how Atech helps customers move from reactive security to a position of confidence and control – consolidating fragmented tooling, improving visibility, and aligning environments to Zero Trust principles.
The winners of the 10th Security Excellence Awards will be unveiled on 26 March.
